Quick Facts:

Location: Full-Time Remote - This person should be based in one of the West Coast States (CA, OR, NV, AZ, UT) to cover the West Coast sales territory.

The role:

Stadion is looking for an experienced retirement managed account sales person to join our Revenue Team. The Revenue Team includes product, business development, marketing and sales and is responsible for driving firm growth. The Vice President, Retirement Consultant position requires significant knowledge of the retirement plan industry, with a specific focus on managed accounts. The person in this role will work with Stadion’s recordkeeping partner wholesalers, advisors and DCIO partners to grow managed account sales in the West Coast U.S. region. This position will report directly to the firm’s SVP, Sales and Business Development and will have regular interaction with the firm’s Senior Management Team.


What You’ll Do:

  • Sell Stadion’s retirement managed account services through recordkeeper wholesalers, generalists and specialist advisors
  • Have deep expertise on Stadion products and services offered across all recordkeeping partners and advisory firms
  • Travel throughout territory to provide in-person sales support
  • Work closely with assigned Senior Regional Sales Consultant to efficiently and effectively manage territory
  • Manage each step in the sales process from proposal to funding
  • Conduct group and one-on-one participant meetings
  • Be a student of the retirement/managed account industry and shape dialogue with all advisor and wholesaler profiles
  • Work closely with Business Development team to provide field support for advisors
  • Participate in industry and partner conferences as needed

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 5 years of retirement industry experience
  • Meaningful recordkeeping and managed account expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series 65 or Series 66
  • Independent self-starter with the ability to effectively organize and manage a large Territory
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to tailor approach and style based on various audiences
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to cover a large territory including at least 75% travel
  • Effective at conducting virtual and in person meetings
